There’s something elegant about a woman. I’m not talking about those dirty, twenty-something whores that you see at the mall with their ass hanging out of their pants. No, I’m referring to the real women that inspire us and blind us with their beauty, driving something inside of us to strive harder to emulate their female spirit. I am talking about the kind of women that remind us that there’s something extraordinary about sensuality, and that no matter who you are, we can all have it. Yes, friends. There are still some of those women around, and they are our goal.

Deep thoughts about the sissy lifestyle….

The last few weeks, I have been hard at work writing what’s in my heart about the sissy lifestyle under all the powder and gloss. Of course, who you are inside matters for many reasons. For the purpose of this entry, it is imperative that your inner self be free not just to experience beauty, but have the confidence to project it. This is why I have talked about stumbling blocks that might be in your way, (Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3), shared a little about my own experience with a sissy (Part 1 and Part 2) and have worked to be a resource and a confidant.

You have listened. So many of you have called since the beginning of this series, sharing your secrets and lives with me. You’ve referenced my blog, you’ve even quoted it! It is clear to me that Amber Academy is speaking to you, and it makes me smile! I never thought that fateful day that a close, personal friend would confide that he was a sissy would lead to the opportunity to be a friend to so many of you. What I’ve been trying to get at since the beginning of this series is that under all of the beautiful fabric and luxurious cosmetics, your confidence is your most important accessory.

The key to feminization….

Just as much as a perfect set of heels can thrill you, confidence is the difference between hoping that you can pull something off and having that spring in your step. That unabashed courage to dress how you love and be who you dream? Confidence. The beauty in the corners of your smile, the exhilaration of all-eyes-on-you…..they aren’t looking at your handbag, baby. You’re wearing something that’s always in season, and what some only wish they could buy. The truth is, confidence isn’t purchased with a quick swipe and signed on a sales slip. It’s discovered, claimed and instantly owned. Once you have it, that dress feels better. Everything does.

Think about confidence this week. Think about how you’re inching closer and closer to your best self. Nothing happens overnight, but we’ll get there together. Next week, we’re going to talk about the ways we can use our inner softness to project outwardly. It’s the difference between dress-up and real life, and we’re choosing the latter.

Meet me right back here. I’ve got more to tell you.
