I had been knocking a feminization blog idea around late last week and it seemed like the definite deal for today, but what can I say? I saw some good weather coming and pulled a picnic together instead, choosing self-care and fun over all. So those blog plans will have to wait because I played hooky all yesterday. And even when I got back home, I didn’t feel like writing the damn thing even then! So as they say, that’s the story and I’m stickin’ to it!

Self-Care? Make Time!

It feels awesome to accomplish things, tackle projects and cross them off a list. (If you’re like me, there’s so many lists!) But every now and then, you have to set it all aside and remember what life is about. Being a boss bitch is well and fine and good, but if you can’t take some time to kick back and take time for self-care, you’re just boring and you won’t have any fun. Now, you can’t hit that ‘lazy switch’ all the time. You still gotta smash those goals, but when you need a break, do it. Balance is important. Also, me being your guide to all things girl isn’t going anywhere!
I actually met a new girl named C.J. a few days ago and our picnic yesterday was our second time hanging out. I think it’s safe to say that her carefree attitude was what I needed. And yesterday, Mia, Krista, C.J. and I said ‘Fuck it’, hung out at a local park, ate each other’s food, did a little day drinking and talked about everything. Krista called in sick and pretended to be on her deathbed. Her over-acting was hilarious!

Go Ahead, Be A Lazy Bitch Once In A While….

Yesterday was the perfect day. It wasn’t so hot that you couldn’t be outside, and there was still a breeze. We relaxed and when it got a little chilly later in the day (chilly in Vegas? I know, I was surprised too!), we all went our separate ways, except Krista and I. We ended up at this cozy little Thai place near my apartment where they’re always making my food spicier than I ask for and it’s fine with me! Now I’m going to get caught up on The Bachelorette, talk to some of you naughty sluts and go from there. I know exactly what I’m writing about next week, and it’s going to about fun, sexy hair. So don’t miss it! And be sure you set aside some time soon to set responsibility aside, be a lazy bitch and have a little fun. Self-care is all about recharging and breaking up the monotony of a packed schedule or feeling burned out. Never apologize for needing it or taking it!
See you next week!
