It’s April! I love the beginning of a new month! As the days pass, we’re going to see better and better weather. Not that my city of Portland OR will not be underwater some days. (Grey clouds and drizzle is a lifestyle around here.) But there will be nice days too, and where you live as well. That means it’s a great time to show off some hot Spring looks with sissy style! Fashion-forward and feminine, that’s my motto for Amber Academy!
Spring Fashion Right Now
Every season has their own specific looks that have shown up on runways and on the pages of fashion magazines, and we’ve already talked about some of them. As always, this feminization Mistresss has her ear to the ground for you! Keep these looks in mind when shopping for Spring styles this season.
Florals— It’s only natural that the beauty of new flowers and the outdoors should influence our fashion! There are some beautiful Spring dresses and skirts out there. Stick with small, pretty prints and you can’t go wrong!
Stripes— Whether pinstripes for the office or big stripes to make a bold statement, stripes are popular this Spring! Look into color-block dresses and non-symmetry for you eclectic, artsy types! Stripes don’t have to take your look over completely, of course….and it’s not recommended. Pair some stripes with a solid matching color for contrast.
80’s— They say everything makes a comeback, and they’re right! Instead of a time-warp outfit, try some accessories and enhancing looks from that decade. Big hair, long earrings, wide belts….maybe even a punk rock look for you throwback music lovers. You can rock anything en femme that you want if you love it!
Bold and bright— I talked alot about shopping for pastels a few weeks ago, and I am not contradicting myself now! The truth is, pastels will always be ‘in’ for Spring, but other elements can certainly be popular. It’s like around Christmastime. We all know that red and green rule the yule, but of course we wear other beautiful shades, too. So as beautiful as pastels are, know that there are some gorgeous bold and bright shades on clothing racks and in Spring displays right now. Some are pretty electric, like pinks, blues, and purples in bright colors. Don’t be afraid to enjoy them!
Wrapping Up
I’ll be talking about Spring just a few more weeks and then we’ll be transitioning to our Summer Series, so stick close to Amber Academy to never miss a thing! If you have to catch up, though…no worries! You can get all the past Amber Academy blogs for this Series and all the others by visiting my Vault page.
Happy Shopping! Talk to you next week!
Tomorrow I’ll be trying on pastel/floral dress that my masseuse picked out for me. She has dress picked out with me in mind wearing that on our shopping trip. I also brought my dresses 2 weeks ago that she wanted me to model for her which I did. I felt so weak/helpless/soft and feminine wearing my dresses in front of her. She told me how cute and adorable I looked. I had pink slip that she loved and said that it fit me perfect and that I had perfect build for women’s dresses/tops and slacks that showed off my curves. Also 2nd week of May or June we are going dress shopping with makeover for me. I was told she’s going to watch over my spending so we can buy many dresses and that she’s going to set up makeover for me. She’s taking charge and control as I’m in female lead relationship and has wrapped me around her fingers and firmly dug her nails into me with no intention of letting me go.
=)
Now that Spring has sprung there are plenty of reasons to go shopping. No doubt there’s something inherently exciting while shopping whether male and female. Aside from wanting to buy everything in sight, and shopping being so daunting you have suggested some very good shopping advice for sissy fashionistas’ to approach this with ease.
Thank you so much, Miss Cindy!
