Eyebrows make a statement and can be your best friend or worst enemy. They make eyeshadow, liner and lashes pop, and will give you a polished look. So don’t ignore eyebrows in your quest for feminization. It won’t matter what you’re wearing or how expertly your makeup is applied if your brows are all over the place! But it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. This week, I’m going to lay out the basics that will take you from Groucho Marx to Brooke Shields in no time!

The Eyebrows Have It

Tweezing

Tweezing is the method most people know. But it’s also the easiest way for sissies and cross dressers to sabotage themselves. Over-tweezing can happen in an instant, and you could get so nitpicky with making them even that you ruin your natural arch. Worse, you could end up with a thin line or no arch at all. Don’t do that! If you’re nervous and realize that you don’t know what the hell you’re doing, that’s ok. You’re better off leaving it to the professionals than looking like Cher in 1972.

Waxing

Waxing is tried and true. But it’s not for wusses. If you’ve accepted that ‘beauty is pain’, waxing should be no big thing for you. It’s precise and looks clean. It removes even the shortest hairs, no matter how unnoticeable. But don’t do it yourself and don’t cheap out on services. We’re talking about someone putting hot wax on your face and pulling it off. So read reviews and choose a reputable technician.

Threading

Threading is a simple process that can really up your eyebrow game in your quest to be fabulous. With this technique, string is wound around hairs to remove it at the follicle. But instead of one hair at a time, entire rows of your eyebrow forest can be removed at once. Threading is easier on the skin than waxing and can provide a precise, more manicured brow. Proper threading also hurts less than waxing or tweezing. If your threading technician is truly making it hurt, they’re inexperienced. You need someone better and you can tell them I said so.

Mistress Weighs In

Instead of picking just one method, I can see the value in all of them. But if you’re serious about perfect eyebrows, I would suggest threading to create shape, and having waxing done around brows for cleaner lines.

And once you’ve got the shape and arch perfect, feel free to do what I do while you’re waiting for more hair to grow. Fill in any light spots with a little color that matches your eyebrow color. They make brow gels and crayons just for this. Use a light touch or you’ll look like Eugene Levy, and nobody wants that. Finish with a clear brow gel to hold hair in place.

Wrapping Up

I hope that I was able to shed some light on a subject that some feminization students may find intimidating. As with any Amber Academy subject, you know your feminization Mistress is always straight with you! So get those eyebrows on point and look like a million bucks, babes!
