I was supposed to work today, but Miss Amber made a call into my job at the boutique and my supervisor that she needed me for something. They said it was totally fine and that I could have a day off. I didn’t know this until after I had gotten dressed to leave. Miss Amber told me to change because she had called in sick for me. I told her that I was feeling fine, but she told me that everyone plays hooky sometimes and to to expect a day of girly fun.
Sissy does lunch and girly stuff
I got ready for the day unsure of what was in store but excited because ever since she met Derek at her camping trip, her already good mood has been great. Miss Amber said that she was calling all the shots that day and that I was going to love it. We went to one of our favorite spots and started off the afternoon with a sushi lunch. After that, we went down the street and got our nails done and talked about the new shoes we were lusting after this fall. Then we headed to Ulta and hit up some makeup sales. I have been playing with makeup alot and really love how girly it makes me feel. And then Miss Amber wanted to look for a specific book at the shop near the mall, so we went there and she found what she wanted. We each got a few books, actually.
We ended at a little Vietnamese place she likes and had some delicious Pho soup. By then, it was getting late and we headed home. Patrick had been over to bring me cookies he baked, but I wasn’t there so he left them. Miss Amber and I had a few cranberry chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with milk, I washed my face and slid into bed. It was one of my favorite days in a long time. I heard Miss Amber talking to one of you and then that’s all I remember. It was a great girly day with my Miss Amber.
