Unfortunately, it looks like we might be seeing some widespread restrictions again. My hometown of Portland OR has already rolled out some changes with restaurants, and there’s talk of strict regulations coming to other places, too.
I’m not happy to hear any of it, but with hospitals filling up and the cold weather season upon us, we may find ourselves in another shutdown or quarantine.
Please take care of yourselves. Please wear a mask and go back to being strict on the things we all did more of back in the beginning. I’m guilty of it, too. I just got lazy. But we have to get serious with this. Please wash your hands, use that hand sanitizer, practice social distancing and stay in whenever possible. Like I’ve seen it said, you’re not stuck at home, you’re safe at home.
Until there’s a vaccine available, we need to step up the personal vigilance. It sucks and yes, it’s the holidays. I’m not near any of my loved ones and I’m a bit homesick! But please take care of yourself, don’t take unnecessary risk.
