Last year, I held the first contest that I ever have here at LDW.
Knowing that talented writers lurk on our blogs and forums and occasionally show us bits of their spark and sizzle, I wanted to see even more and decided to lure them with two things that few folks can resist: glory and free stuff.
My essay contest had two questions and two prizes. You can learn about the contest and prizes here.
I expected that I would get some great entries, but what I did not expect is that I would not be able to just pick two winners. Therefore, I expanded the Winner’s Circle by adding an Honorable Mention to each category and offered the same prizes to them.
