Last week, I was so excited to begin telling all of you of some anal sex toys to try. But the ‘red-hot territory’ I promised last week definitely took on a different meaning after a trip to the river today. And thanks to the events of today, this week is all about summer skin care and sun damage prevention. Sissies and cross dressers, listen up! This is for you!

Mistress out in the summer sun with cuck and sissy Patrick

You may have noticed that I wasn’t around for calls yesterday, and that’s because I was with my cuckold Scott and his sissy romance, Patrick. The two of them have really been getting closer, and they had been excited to get out and enjoy the weather. With Patrick’s Mistress (and my bestie) Tarah busy all day with errands, I was happy to chaperone a trip to the river.

So why did I interrupt a perfectly good string of sex blogs in our current series of Amber Academy to tell you about all this? Well, it’s because even though I stayed safe in the sun under my umbrella and hat and Scott lathered up with sunscreen and had a lovely day…..Patrick fried up like a little lobster. I felt so very bad for him! He is currently at home and quite uncomfortable, as Tarah has been working to help him cool the sting that he earned. Patrick assured me when we picked him up that he had applied sunscreen and even had more with him, so I wasn’t worried. Skin care is important to me, and something I harp about alot. Scott even wrote about it just a few days ago, and you can read that here.

So again, what does this have to do with you? Plenty. Summer is in full swing and my readers need a few tips to implement when having fun. You don’t need to stay indoors when all your friends are elsewhere. Please read and remember these things:

Summer Skin Care and Sun Damage Prevention Tips

It only takes one bad burn to double your risk of melanoma. When it comes to sunscreen, you must apply enough, and often enough for it to matter. You should be using about a teaspoon for sized amount for your face and about an ounce for your body. You should also be reapplying every two hours or so, and being extra careful about sunshine from approximately 10 am to 4 pm. Harmful rays can still reach you through windows at your office, on trains or in cars. And of course, in water. Summer skin care is serious business!

You should be wearing sunscreen on your face and on exposed skin even when you are not in direct sunlight, even if it’s through clouds. Cosmetics have come a long way in trying to help! I use a CC cream that offers some color with an SPF. I even have a makeup setting spray with an SPF in it. Even if you aren’t big into alot of make-up, you owe it to yourself to find a face lotion that will offer you SPF coverage. Don’t forget to guard the exposed parts of scalp and the part of your hair against sun damage, as well. Sunscreen is your best friend! Have someone help you with the parts that you can’t reach.

Do a monthly self-check in a full length mirror to watch for any signs of new moles or changing moles. If something appears or changes color or size, don’t mess around. Get thee to the Doctor post-haste for an examination! Cancer doesn’t fuck around, and neither should you!

When exposed to the sun, t-shirts, bathing suit cover-ups (maybe a sexy sarong!) and wide brimmed hats are vital. Don’t forget SPF in your lip balm or sunglasses for your delicate eye skin.
In the event of a bad sunburn, apply cool, damp cloths to the burn. Slather on a cooling gel like aloe, and drink alot of water to stay hydrated. Of your skin blisters or peels, do not pick! If you develop a fever or get chills, see a Doctor. Keep those self-checks up to date and be more cautious in the future.

Really love the look of ‘tan’? Get a self-tanner, silly! Stay away from tanning beds and unprotected sun exposure to stay as healthy (and non-leathery) as possible whether you’re out en femme or not. There’s a reason why Christie Brinkley still looks like a million bucks at 61. She shuns the sun!

Next week, back to our regularly scheduled blogging.
