I know that alot of Mistresses here will give an update on fashion and play up the sweet pastels that are timeless for Spring. While their reports are accurate, I never want to shortchange the catwalk princesses that live for the cutting edge and want to know what’s hot. That’s what you’ll find in my feminization report for Amber Academy every season, and that’s where my passion is. It doesn’t mean that sissies and cross dressers have to spend the rent to nab these items, but it is meant to inspire you to stay trend-forward when you’re scoring high quality knock-offs to mirror the styles that are all the rage.
High fashion trends to keep in mind when you shop this Spring
If there’s one thing I love, it’s shopping. And when you love it as much as I do, you keep your ear to the ground and eyes open, following up on reports from fashion houses and their shows. When scouring sales at department stores and consignment shops, keep these things in mind:
This season, crisp, long-sleeved white blouses with hounds tooth patterned skirts are a classy look. Feeling sporty? Fitted polos have made a comeback. Just pair them with short, pleated skirts and you’re good to go! Loving the idea of dresses this season? Take your pick. Between, eye-catching shirtdresses, one-shoulder dressy outfits, pretty patterned slip dresses and dresses with an empire waist to hide a problem figure, you can’t go wrong. Don’t forget the silky, flirty maxidresses that add a feminine touch to anything!
One thing that is really making a statement this spring is culottes! I wasn’t really sure I was feeling them until I saw them paired with fitted tops, knitted sweaters and silk blouses. Also leading the way are velvet pants with sheer tops, sexy tailored pantsuits and classic suede. A-line suede skirts and velvet boot cut pants? Yes, please!
And fringe is funky, so look for them on skirts and jackets. Try some gingham patterns or a long, trench-inspired coat. All of these are fresh looks for Spring, and definitely a way to get you noticed when you are out en femme.
Next week, be ready for me to complete the rest of this topic, when I talk more about fashion and touch on fun accessories that will round out your look!

Ms Amber ~ Even though I am not as much of a shopper as you (you set the standard!!) I have definitely been embracing it lately! I love this time of year! I have been checking out the fitted polos – love them!! And I think I will take your suggestion and try one of the shirt dresses. I have seen them quite a bit lately and you have given me just the nudged I needed. Thank you!!! Can’t wait to hear what is next!
What’s next will be such a fun topic….accessories! I hope you catch that one!
Ms. Amber, I love fashion too! What a great way to help your sissies look better and more feminine. I am not so sure about culottes, but love palazzo pants. If a sissy likes the look of a long skirt, but security of a pant, they are great. Polo dresses are a wonderful twist on the fitted shirt, I have one myself! Hurray for Spring:)
I think palazzo pants can look good on some ladies, they’re just not for me. But pantsuits and sexy, two-piece outfits can look so classy, Miss Lena!
