This week, we’re talking about the lipstick trends of Spring….portable, affordable and instant femininity. These trends are perfect for the beauty prep tips I’ve shared before before a big night or just to make a statement!

Lipstick: Spring Looks And Tricks

See Red— This classic look is timeless and perfect. Pick the right red lip shade for you (see box provided)  and the rock it with minimal makeup so that your mouth is the focus.
Easy, pretty and pretty easy!

A Bit ‘O Highlight— This look is about an accent, not the color per se. In this case, your Cupid’s Bow gets all the attention. For those lipstick’ers not in-the-know, your Cupid’s Bow is the center top lip, where it begin to bend like the top of a heart. For the highlight look, select a glittery metallic lip liner in any shade lighter than your lipstick, and apply it just to the Cupid’s Bow. What you get is a unique, edgy twist on a Spring lip, and right in style for sissies to try!

Pop Of Color–There’s a certain beauty about a defined lined and a perfect pout. But never underestimate the power of a more relaxed lip. Consider a non-defined wash of color like a lipstain or a juicy, shimmery balm in your perfect shade.

Get Glassy –Shiny perfection! Look for wet-look shades that bring a little ‘lady’ to your lips. Wear alone or as the top coat of a matte lipstick.

Just Peachy— Peach is shaping up to be the (non-red) universal shade for Spring and anyone can wear it. Pair it with a perfect cat eye and dramatic fake lashes or jewel-toned shimmer shadow with an alluring smoky eye. Either way, peach is perfect!
