Summer is here and there’s a carefree feeling in the air. The smell of BBQ in the neighborhood, longer nights, loud music with the windows down….how can you not love it? Making your summer sexy is a choice, but also a mood. ‘Summer sexy’ is a fun and girly wave you ride all the way to Fall! I’m covering sex, beauty, fashion and more in Amber Academy XV and there’s more to come, but here’s a few thoughts I’m having on summer right now.

Summer Sexy Fashion and Beauty

Flip flops— I am going a little nuts with buying them right now.  One, they’re cute and summery, but hey. How else are you supposed to show that gorgeous pedicure?

Pop-of-color accessories— How about a few bangle bracelets, a pretty anklet or a brightly colored ring that catches the eye? Look for ways to dress up your ‘summer sexy’ outfit without going overboard.

Cute, small handbags— The only time you should be holding a beach bag tote is when you’re literally heading for the beach. When you’re at the mall, dinner or just running around en femme, you should be sporting something trendy and cute. No need to spend the rent. My motto is ‘You can get the look without buying the brand’. Of course, if you want to splurge, go for it.

Summer-appropriate fragrance— It’s summer, and that means no heavy and clunky fragrances from Fall and Winter. Experiment instead with either clean or beach-y scents reminiscent of the salt and ocean, or go fruity with flirty fragrances that smell positively delicious!
