It’s getting a little chilly out there! I know we’ve talked about skin care and staying soft, which of course is important. But I want to cover a little warm weather basics this week. Having a coat with a hood is not enough. Cold air whipping in and out of your ears and an unprotected, hat-less head is a quick recipe for swollen glands, colds and maybe worse. But that doesn’t mean you have to look like a doofus or have warm gear cramp your style! Read on, sissies and cross dressers!

Smart, Feminine Choices For Cold Weather
Head— If there’s one style of cold weather head gear I can’t stand, it’s those dumb winter hats with the ball of yarn at the top of them. You can still have ‘function’ with a feminine look. Check out knitted wool caps with a visor, a wool ski cap or maybe even a wool beret. Why not make it fashionable? There are many styles!
Hands— Now, who doesn’t love beautiful winter gloves? But it’s hard to find things in your sissy purse, send a text or whatever else if your fingers are covered. Look into finger-less gloves to keep your hands warm and still retain the ability for fine finger movement

Neck— Scarves are my jam! I start wearing them in early Fall and I’m still rockin’ em’ in February! Scarves can be wool, chenille, fleece or any other warm material that does the job.
Winter Is Out To Get You
Winter doesn’t care how busy you are, how much you have planned, or how easily an illness would knock you on your ass and render you worthless to all your responsibilities. We have to guard our health because we usually stay up later, eat more garbage, exercise less and have more stress in winter. Don’t get sick and then be on the relapse train. Staying healthy and truly enjoying this season whether you’re en femme or not starts with good cold weather choices that look pretty, too!

I agree with your fashion sense. Not a fan at all of the hats you mentioned. They look ugly! I do agree with the scarves! Especially the feminine colors! Also I’m thinking of buying that type. What links carry those types of scarves? In thinking of buying women’s jackets as they have sexy look!
Women’s clothes are more sexier & hotter then guy clothes. I’m thinking with women’s turtleneck sweater with my skinny slacks/ankle boots and mule clogs along with women’s leather jacket and scarve you have posted about will be hot look for me.
You know, about those hats….there’s a naughty tomboy side of me that sometimes comes out. Maybe that’s why you weren’t fond of everything I wrote about….
Your right about health as well. Staying up late is a major no no!! Same with junk food!! Holidays is major time for this but I’m not going to take much part in that unless its with close tennis friends.no interest whatsoever in going to bars either as that danger zone and trouble awaits.
Good job, Petey! Sounds like you know what gto stay away from!
That’s right who says we have to get stuck in a rut by wearing boring warm gear fashion. Our outermost pieces get worn the most so you have to keep in mind function and style. It is so fun coordinating well thought out pieces like scarfs, hats, and gloves just be practical when traveling to cold destinations.
I totally agree, Miss Cindy!
Ms. Amber, you’re right . Cold weather is no joke, especially if you are somewhere that seems to have a longer than usual winter. One of my favorite winter accessories is a neck cowl or fitted infinity scarf. What’s so great is that you can keep your neck warm ,without all the extra material. If you want gloves with fingers that can be used with a smart phone, the ones with special thin fingertips are always great.
I really hope that I was able to give my readers some great ideas for winter, Miss Lena!
These are excellent ideas for winter. Winter is when extra layers, along with tights come in handy. Those are fancy hats and they look warm. Your glove suggestion is a great idea. Thank you for sharing mistress.
