I don’t usually write about exercise, but it’s good for you and keeps you looking healthy in the sissy and cross dresser lifestyles you love to live every day. That being said, nothing sucks more than working in a boring office next to a sunny window, and workouts are the same. The weather is starting to get pleasant and when it’s warm, sometimes fitness routines get a little stopped up. But don’t let them! Exercise is a natural de-stressor. Endorphins are sexy, baby! Just make sure you keep some things in mind when transitioning your workouts to the great outdoors.

How To Exercise Outdoors On A Hot Summer Day…..
- Don’t over-do it when starting outside. Begin with a 15-20 min sweat session and work up from there.
- Avoid working up a sweat outdoors from 1 pm-5 pm, in the heat of the day.
- Stay hydrated. Your pee shouldn’t have any color. If it does, drink up!
- Look for words like ‘mesh’ and/or ‘moisture-wicking’ when looking for some sexy exercise gear. There are some cute clothes available when working out en femme! Don’t wear too much black. It will attract heat.
- Wear a hat to protect your face from the sun.
- Don’t ignore sunscreen on exposed skin areas or think that it’s a hassle because you’ll be sweating. Make sure you smear some on your ears and neck, too.
- Plan you workouts depending on the time of day. Pick early morning hours before it’s too hot for tough cardio, and easier workout activities after 5 pm.
- Losing salt through sweat can contribute to exhaustion, so make sure you replenish your sodium and potassium levels with workout snacks like yogurt and pumpkin seeds or a banana with some salted nuts.
- Listen to that body. If you start feeling sick or dizzy during your warm weather outdoor workout, take a break. Get to a shady spot and have your phone with you if you need it. Hell, maybe you’ll call me on Sissy School and we’ll gab about your day while you relax a bit! I love girl talk!
Why exercise on warm days, anyway?
Everyone is being bombarded with health info left and right, and exercise is one of the biggest ways to ward off medical pitfalls later. Not only will you feel and look better, but you’ll be in a great habit when the weather gets cooler and everyone starts shoving pumpkin pie in your face!
Healthy bodies are beautiful, and looking more like a woman is about wearing what you want and feeling fabulous in it. It’s time we all started taking better care of ourselves, and warm weather workouts are a start. Follow proper precautions, and have some fun out there!

Thanks for another great post, Mistress Amber. I know that my diet and exercise program the past year has helped my thinking as well as my body. I’m a better submissive for it and someday I’ll be worthy to be a good sissy too.
I’m sure of it, subBill!
I totally agree with this!!! Also with warmer/ hitter weather eating small meals is way to go instead of eating massive! To me eating is dirty word! I’d rather eat small portions instead of like a horse. The more food you put in your mouth the fatter you will get. I hate this theory about bulking up as bulking=fat this is coming from former bodybuilder who got blackballed as everyone came after me to beat me which they did and I quit going to the gym with no intention of ever returning. I’d much rather be lean/cut/ripped then bulky. Even better do what women do in staying lean year round. Any ideas on how you & the other mistresses stay so fit year round? I want that.
Honestly, Petey….I can’t speak for everyone else, but if I am changing up my exercise and doing things I enjoy, it doesn’t feel like work. My BFF Tarah and I will actually shoot some hoop in my driveway (not a game of HORSE!), and that’s great cardio if you keep moving. My girl Carrie is a hiking fanatic and drags me out sometimes. But I will always take the stairs instead of elevators, and I always park my car waaaaay the fuck across the parking lot just to get more walking in. These are little things that I do for exercise. Stay active and when the weather changes, adjust. That’s it!
What about diet? Eating smaller portions instead of massive meals in warm weather months is way to go in losing weight. Less carbs/more fruits/veggies and protein? I don’t like to eat a lot in summer as it bloats/and slows me down. I feel sluggish and getting fat.
Eat smaller meals for sure. Less carbs, more protein. Take advantage of the beautiful produce!
As a distance runner I concur with all of this. I hate the heat and humidity with a passion. Give me 60 degree days and I’m good lol. During the summer I plan my runs in either the early mornings or late in the day. The longer days helps with this. I double up on my water intake during the summer. Sunscreen is something I usually forget though I rarely burn. But I never forget to wear my short short running shorts with a 3″ seem to show off my toned legs. ????
Yeah, I wish it was 70 degrees every day, Stephanie!
