The pandemic continues and Vegas is slowly getting it’s bearings again. It’s still boring as hell around here, but we’ll get there!
This week, I went to dinner with a few girlfriends and for just a little bit, it was almost normal. People were wearing masks, of course. We needed to ask the waitstaff to repeat things sometimes because of their masks….but my friends and I still had a chance to eat, drink and laugh alot.
Girl Power
This virus sucks, I know. It’s cramping alot of ‘normal’, but this is a great time for girl power. The perfect time, actually. What is girl power? Well, it’s anything feminine that powers you through. For me, it’s my friends and romantic comedies, and sometimes it’s badass female musicians or women that are trying to make a difference. Girl power is dressing up only for myself and wearing new lingerie! It’s about loving myself and letting myself be myself now, not waiting until after Covid.
Fuck Covid! Do it now! Paint your toes, pamper yourself with a few naughty purchases here and there, and if you’re a makeup maven like me, binge-watch Glow Up with a full face of makeup and drink wine in a fancy glass, bitch! ❤
I agree Ms Amber!!! I’ve started to wear my women’s clothes bras panties makeup lipstick wigs!!!f—k it!!! Especially now my friend said she wants me to wear my dress when I see her again with my wig/bra/breast forms/heels. She said I look better as a girl and need to accept/embrace and not worry or care what others think anymore. She’s right. As Ms Erika and Ms Daphne said I AM a girl and need to embrace/accept this as well.
