Spring is here, even though the weather may say differently. Flowers will soon begin to bloom, lots of clothes will go on sale and people will start eating those horrific Easter marshmallow bird candy things on purpose! That horror aside, this is also the time for pastels, even if you don’t wear them often. How can you not be inspired? This season, pastels are everywhere! And you know how much I love shopping, so pastels speak my language!

Feminine Pastels For The Feminine Dresser

Now, I love my primary colors. You can’t ever take my fiery reds or royal blues, sorry. Those are year-round for me and along with black and white, that’s my go-to. But I can’t ignore the soft and pretty shades that Spring provides. There’s just something fresh and feminine that comes with pastels. A soft, sunny yellow beach tote or a cool mint green bangle for my wrist or bauble for my finger? A sweet lavender or light blue shade of polish on my toes? How about a tender rose in a juicy shade for my lips? How can I say no to a pretty dress that flows with the colors of Spring? I cannot! Pastels are feminine and if you’re feminine too, I encourage you to get out there and take a little Spring for yourself. Are they your normal colors, your go-to? Maybe not. They’re not mine, either. But it’s fun to experiment, to reinvent and indulge a little in a trend that always brings pretty colors out to play!
